NCB, an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce &Industry,   Govt.   of   India,   is   devoted   to   Research   &   Development,
Technology   Transfer,Consultancy, and Training for Cement and Construction Industries.

Applications   are   invited   for   admission   to   One   Year   (August   2017   to   July   2018)
Post Graduate Diploma in Cement Technology
 offered by NCB.

Name of the course:- Post   Graduate   Diploma in Cement Technology
Eligibility:- B.E./B.Tech(Chemical Engg.)      or M Sc. (Chemistry) With consistently good academic career and minimum   60%   of   marks 
Annual Fee:-  For Self sponsored Candidates Rs.   90,000   (includes   tuition   fee,simulator training and institutionalfacilities).
Industry Sponsored Candidates Rs.  3,70,000  (including  tuition  fee,boarding/lodging,simulatortraining    and    other    institutionalfacilities)

Interested  candidates  should  apply  latest  by  30th  June  2017,  giving  personal  information including  category  (General/Sponsored/SC/ST/Others),  address  for  correspondence,  contact
number,  e-mail  address,  educational  qualifications  (10th  Class  onwards),  working  experience,  if any.  Sponsored  candidates  should  send  their  application  through  their  employers.  Provisions exist    for    reservations    for    SC/ST    and    persons    with    disabilities    as    per    Government rules/instructions.   Certificate   from   appropriate   authority   may   be   furnished   for   reserved categories.
A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only), Rs. 125/-
(Rupees  One  hundred  twenty  five  only)  for  candidates  falling  under  reserved   categories,  is payable  through  RTGS/NEFT  in  favour  of  National  Council  for  Cement and  Building  Materials

WHY  YOU  SHOULD  JOIN?

The  main  aim  of  this  course  is  to develop  pool  of  technically  trained  manpower  readily  available  for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. The course shall enhance the
knowledge  and  skills  offresh Graduate  engineers seeking  career  in power &  allied energy sector and those sponsored by  various Power Utilities.

ABOUT  THE  COURSE: 

This  is  a  modular  course  of  26  weeks duration. Formal coaching will be held at Regional Institute of NPTI located  at  Badarpur  (New  Delhi).  Simulator  training
will  be  held  at Bangalore.  Regular  visits  to  nearby  Power  Stations/  Sub  Stations/ LDCs  &  other  related  industries  are  also  undertaken  during  the programme.

ELIGIBILITY:

B.E./B.Tech. OR  equivalent  in  Electrical/  Power/  Electrical  & Electronics Engineering.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

On Merit basis, % in B.E./ B.Tech examination.

TOTAL  SEATS:  60*, Reservation  for  OBC/SC/ST/specially  abled as  per  Govt.  of  India  Norms.  Seats  are  also  reserved  for  candidates sponsored from Power utilities.

*The number of seats  may be changed at the discretion of the NPTI management.

PLACEMENT:  Many  reputed  companies  visit  NPTI  for  campus placement  and  placement  fee  is  charged  from  those  who  are  placed through campus.

70% students from current batch have already been placed  within  3  months  of  starting. However  placement  is  not guaranteed.

PGDC (T&D) 1,45,000*1,90,000* *Service tax and Cess extra @15% shall be charged separately on the fees.
There  is  no  fee  concession  for  any  category  of  candidates.  The  cost of  transportation  to  local  industries/  utilities  will  be ` 7000/-+ 6% Service  Tax.  Outstation  transportation/  boarding/  lodging  charges will  be  borne  by  the  participants  separately.  A  refundable  caution money  of ` 4000/-for  non  hostellers  and ` 6000/-for  hostellers (refundable subject to full fee payment) is to be deposited at the time of joining.

LODGING/ BOARDING: Hostel Facility is provided on first come first  serve  basis,  subject  to  availability  on  nominal  charges.  Girl candidates are provided separate hostel  at NPTI, Faridabad.
